Euphoria and their 16 nominations with the main star making Emmy History

Euphoria just got 16 Emmy nominations. Which includes, ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’, ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’, 2 nominations for ‘Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series’, and many other ones.
The “Euphoria” breakout star Sydney Sweeney landed her first Emmy nomination in the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her performance in the hit HBO series. Sweeney was also nominated for “The White Lotus” in the Outstanding Limited Series Emmys category. She went to instagram to express her gratitude and appreciation to her friends, family, and fans who supported her along this journey. She wrote, “what a morning! thank you so much to the @televisionacad for my emmy nominations! It’s an honor to know that both Olivia and Cassie have connected with so many. I’m so proud of both these shows and grateful to everybody that’s been apart of them. Actress Zendaya making Emmy History
“Euphoria” star Zendaya also made Emmys history as the youngest star (at age 25) to receive two acting Emmy nominations, as well as being among the youngest producers to earn an Emmys nod. Zendaya won Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her turn as Rue in 2020. Zendaya received an additional two nominations for the 2022 Emmys in the best original music and lyrics category for “I’m Tired” as well as “Elliot’s Song.”
The Emmy nominee went to instagram to give her thanks. She wrote, “Making this show with this cast and crew of the most incredibly talented people that I get the privilege of learning from everyday has been a highlight of my life. I’m so proud to work beside you and CONGRATULATIONS! I don’t have the words to express the love and gratitude I feel right now, all I can do is say thank you with all my heart! The 2022 Emmy Award nominations were announced on Tuesday morning. The Emmys are set to air live at 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT across the country on NBC on Sept. 12 and stream live for the first time on Peacock.
